F.F.C. Participates in the 10th International Conference of
Islamic Financial Institutions in Kuwait |

|
First Finance Company(The Company) participated in the 10th International Conference
of Islamic Financial Institutions, which was kicked off in Kuwait on the 11th and
12th January,2010 entitled : " The Secretions of the Global Crisis on the Islamic
Financial Industry" under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs,
Minister of State for Development Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs
Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahad al-Sabah in the presence of a large crowd of financiers, bankers
and business professionals in the Islamic financial work and interested in it.
The Company's participating delegation included Dr. Khalid Ibn Ibrahim al-Sulaiti,
the executive president, Mr. Hamad al-Muhannadi, senior executive manager, and Mr.
Rabee' Muhammad 'Itani, officer in-charge of public relations and information. On
this occasion, the Company demonstrated its experience in the Islamic financial
industry to be an introduction to the Platinum Care Conference.
The most distinguishing feature of the Conference in its tenth version, which has
been organized by al-Mashurah Company and al-Rayah for Islamic Financial Consultations
in collaboration with the Center for Islamic finance industry, London, is the broad
international representation for more than 30 countries from different continents
of the world.
The conference included a seminar on the Islamic financial industry for the diplomatic
corps stationed in Kuwait, which reacted positively to confirm their presence in
the Conference and participation in the symposium. On the second day of the conference,
there was a seminar dedicated to the Islamic finance work for the diplomatic corps
about the fundamentals of Islamic finance and the reasons behind the growth of its
industry at the global level.
The corridors of the conference also witnessed two working sessions entitled: “Current
Handlings and Future Trends Towards Governance" and” Strategies of Finance, Investment
and Financial leverage in the Islamic financial institutions".

It is worth mentioning that the International Conference of the Islamic Financial
Institutions has been held in Kuwait since ten years. Kuwait embraces the best full-compliant
Islamic financial firms and has the biggest volume of assets worldwide, in addition
to investment funds and insurance companies. This conference, by Allah's favor,
has achieved a set of successes that made it "The Most Remarkable Event" , which
led to an international meeting for the Islamic financial institutions , experts
and Fuqaha (jurisprudents) of the Islamic Shari'ah.

industry proves stability and workability during financial crises and different
challenges of development and continuity.

Furthermore, F.F.C. has drawn attention of different economic and financial circles
via building a peerless network of relations with suppliers and clients according
to "Business Development "rule. So, it has accomplished excellent works through
(1) entering into one hundred contracts in different fields and sectors of life
, and (2) forming a net of 700 clients/suppliers and 34000 customers.
Since it deals with local and Gulf markets via innovated mechanisms in order to
face express changes, F.F.C. has established a special department under the name
of "Risks Management" along with another special department for development and
marketing.
The current year 2010 will witness, by Allah's help, a qualitative leap in the business
