F.F.C. Grants Computers to Indian Islahi Center |

First Finance has granted a number of computers to Indian Islahi Center. The Indian
Islahi Center is one of the most active and vivid Islamic centers working among
Indian community in Qatar. It is working under the supervision of Islamic Cultural
Center (Fanar), an affiliate of Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Mr. Hamad al-Muhannadi, senior executive manger, handed over the computers to Basheer
Anawari, vice chairman of the Center's Public Relations, in the presence of Salem
'Uthaman, the Company's purchases official.
Mr. al-Muhannadi stated that: "We hope that the Center will continue its Da'wah
(Invitation to Islam) activities among Indians, which started thirty years ago.
The Center organizes different programs such as Qur'an lessons, Islamic lectures,
Friday sermons’ translation at Mosques, general activity camps, conferences, blood
donation campaigns and medical camps. It supervises a religious school wherein some 450 students learn Islam."

It is worth mentioning that First Finance has been intentionally
established as
a primary step to meet the consumers’ needs and to explore available opportunities in different fields of finance in the Qatari promising economy such as automobile
finance, bargains and consumer finance via producing Islamic substitutes for conventional
banking services.

IT systems.
It is also worth mentioning that Indian Islahi Center has twenty five branches in
different areas of Qatar. Its Central Council consists of the supervisors of the
se branches. It performs its activities in association with Ministry of Awqaf and
Islamic Affairs, Ministry of Municipality and Agriculture, Hamad Medical Corporation,
Fanar, Zakah Fund, Qatar Red Crescent, Qatar Charity, Saudi Da’wah and Guidance
Center, Traffic Department and Supreme Council for the Environment and others.
