F.F.C. Participates in 8th Regional Conference for Leaders of Training and Human
Development |

|
FFC shared 400 participants in the activities of the 8th Regional Conference for
Leaders of Training and Human Resources Development under the title: "Initiatives
of Strategic Change in order to Develop Human Resources". Mr. Hamad Ahmad al-Muhannadi,
the Manager of the Human Resources at FFC, shared more than 400 representatives
of 200 Arab and International leading institutions in the event. The event was organized
by PMEC and officially sponsored by the Ministry of Administrative Development.
Approved by IFTDO, the conference reflected the importance of the subjects
and vital issues to be discussed about training and human resources development.
The conference was accompanied with a specialized exhibition on training, information
and publishing houses, IT and distance education. Furthermore, Semiramis Intercontinental
Cairo hosted the exhibition for three days.
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmad Darwish, the Egyptian State Minister of Administrative
Development and Major General 'Adil Labeeb, the Mayor of Alexandria, the conference
discussed Arab and International state of successes as they are.

According to H.E. the Minister, "The conference aims at discussing the new strategic
role of training and functional development in modern institutions amid the 21st
century changes."
The conference reviewed the extent of training and developmental activities that
can be accomplished concerning the desired comprehensive development in the society.
At the same time, the conference dealt with the increasing concern in comprehensive
development of human resources. It also reviewed Arab and world experiences concerning
discovering potentials and skills, in addition to demonstrating the best strategies
and initiatives related to future development of human resources.
Furtheremore, the conference explained how to translate the visions of modern institutions
into action, i.e. how to make initiatives with measurable results. On this occasion,
the participation of IFTDO produced a good opportunity for dialogue, signing agreements
and joining the Federation.
The conference discussed several subjects, among which were :(1) experiences of
Arab and world institutions in human resources management,
(2) strategies of education related to human resources promotion,
(3) strategies of civil organizations concerning human development,
(4) human skills management and discovering potentials,
(5) the role of training centers and research and publishing institutions in enriching
Arab self- abilities,
(6) information revolution and human performance technology,
(7) the role of woman and youth in society development,
(8) the role of Arab and world organizations in human investment,(9) foreign work-force:
positive and negative aspects and others’ experiences, and
(10)the role of media in promoting human and administrative personality.
In conclusion, excellence certificates were distributed to participants.
